Food Network Canada has dished up its latest culinary offering in the form of six-part series Chuck & Danny’s Road Trip.

The series (6 x 60 minutes) follows Montreal-based chefs Chuck Hughes (Chuck’s Day Off) and Danny Smiles (Top Chef Canada) as they travel across Canada creating – and sharing – meals with local chefs and food experts. Chuck & Danny’s Road Trip is produced by Vancouver’s Force Four Entertainment in association with Corus Entertainment’s Food Network Canada.

Production is currently underway on the east coat of Canada, with the series set to later shoot in B.C., southern Ontario, New Brunswick and P.E.I.

Chuck & Danny’s Road Trip is scheduled to premiere on the specialty channel in spring 2017.

Chuck Hughes, who runs acclaimed restaurants Garde Manger and Le Bremner, is also the subject of another series, which marblemedia is currently developing.
