Barry Meyerowitz’s Phase 4 Films has picked up the North American rights to three films by infamous German filmmaker Uwe Boll.

Phase 4 acquired Boll’s first serious movie, Darfur, the genocide drama that stars Billy Zane, Edward Furlong and Kristanna Loken, for a summer 2010 theatrical release.

Also in the Boll slate is the Brightlight Pictures horror thriller The Final Storm, which stars Lauren Holly and Luke Perry, and the Brendan Fletcher- and Shaun Sipos-starring action drama Rampage.

Boll achieved notoriety as the ‘Raging Boll’ when he challenged movie critics who didn’t like his work to a 10-round boxing match.
