Warthogs join Family

Aircraft Pictures is producing a comedy pilot, What’s Up Warthogs, for Family Channel, the specialty service said Wednesday.

Miami-based kids series producer Dolphin Entertainment is executive producing the multi-camera sitcom about a collection of awkward teens who team up to produce a weekly school-wide newscast called What’s Up Warthogs.

Julie Sagalowsky and Alex Diaz created and wrote the pilot, which is currently shooting in Toronto with Eddy Martin and Karissa Lee Staples as lead actors, Jon Rosenbaum directing and Anthony Leo of Aircraft producing.

Aircraft’s Andrew Rosen is executive producing the pilot along with Bill O’Dowd of Dolphin.

Sagalowsky and Diaz are represented by Dobré Films.
