Marblemedia has partnered with celebrity chef Chuck Hughes to develop a new, primetime unscripted series.
The currently unnamed project will see Hughes work as an apprentice to some of the world’s best chefs, with the goal of showing viewers the secrets to their unique cooking styles.
“Our strategy is to combine our original formats with top-tier talent. Chuck Hughes is an international household name with a respected brand reaching audiences through TV and books,” said Matt Hornburg, co-CEO and executive producer at marblemedia said in a statement.
Previous television property’s Hughes has appeared in include Whalley Abbey Media’s Chuck’s Day Off and Chuck’s Week Off, both of which aired on Food Network Canada. He was also a celebrity chef on The Next Iron Chef: Super Chefs and an expert judge on Paperny Entertainment’s Chopped Canada. He is also the co-owner and executive chef of Montreal’s Garde Manger and Le Bremner, and has a number of cookbooks to his name. All Access Productions represents Hughes internationally.
