Charlotte Selb (pictured), director of programming at the Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM), is taking a leave of absence after six years in the role, with Bruno Dequen and Marie-Laure Tittley set to replace her.

Selb, who is to step away from her post effective Saturday (Jan. 30), said in a statement that the break will allow her to “explore new opportunities” outside of the festival.

Once the break takes effect, Dequen will move into the position of director of programming, while Tittley will serve as department manager.

Dequen first joined the RIDM programming team in 2011. He currently serves as editor-in-chief at the Quebec film review magazine 24 images, and has previously held the title of catalog editor for the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma.

Tittley, meanwhile, boarded RIDM in 2012 and became program coordinator in 2014. Prior to this, she worked with the Producers Network at the Cannes Film Festival’s Marché du film, and has served as coordinator of the first two European editions of the Frontières International Co-Production Market.

The 19th annual RIDM runs Nov. 10 to 20 in Montreal.
