Continuing their awards season hot-streak, copros Room (Ireland/Canada) and Brooklyn (Ireland/U.K./Canada) both picked up multiple nominations from the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) for the 2016 British Academy Film Awards.

Room‘s Brie Larson and Brooklyn‘s Saoirse Ronan both received nominations in the best leading actress category, while Brooklyn also earned nominations in the Outstanding British Film, Adapted Screenplay, Costume Design and Make Up & Hair categories. Julie Walters also picked up a nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Brooklyn.

In addition to Larson’s nomination, Room was recognized in the Adapted Screenplay category. Room was written by Irish-Canadian author Emma Donoghue, who also penned the novel on which the movie is based.

Room is currently up for three Golden Globe awards in the categories of Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Screenplay and best actress in a feature film for Larson’s performance. Brooklyn also picked up a Golden Globe nod in the best actress category for Ronan’s performance. The Golden Globe winners will be announced on Jan. 10, with the BAFTA winners to be named on Feb. 14.

Room is directed by Lenny Abrahamson, with No Trace Camping producing in association with Duperele Film. Brooklyn is directed by John Crowley and produced by Wildgaze Films, Finola Dwyer Productions, Item 7 and Parallel Films. Room is distribution by Elevation Pictures in Canada, while Mongrel Media has the Canadian distribution rights for Brooklyn.
