* Vancouver’s Brightlight Pictures is making Bloodrayne 2, the sequel to last year’s troubled video game adaptation, again under the direction of Uwe Boll.

* Emma Caulfield (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) stars in Valentine Carol, an MOW by Insight Film Studios for Global that wrapped last month in Vancouver.

* Stage director Ed Gass-Donnelly has wrapped the comedy This Beautiful City in Toronto. It stars Kristin Booth (Prairie Giant) and Caroline Cave (The L Word).

* Season two (10 x 30) of Rent-A-Goalie starts shooting next month in Toronto for Showcase.
