Sold!

* The Score has paid US$3.1 million for a three-year deal to air English Premier League soccer, starting in fall 2007.

* Corner Gas has been picked up in the U.S. following a deal through Multi-Platform Distribution Company, and is set to debut on Superstation WGN in 2007, putting 88 episodes into some 70 million homes via cable and satellite. In a separate deal, U.K.-based handler Minotaur International has sold the Prairie-set hit comedy to 26 territories including Finland, Israel, Iraq, Tunisia and Australia.

* Korean broadcaster EBS has bought the preschooler series Franny’s Feet from Decode Entertainment. The Toronto toon shop also recently sold its Naughty Naughty Pets to Kids Central in Singapore, Angela Anaconda to Cartoon Network Japan, and Naturally, Sadie to Nickelodeon’s channels in Asia, including Japan, and New Zealand.

* Fireworks International has bought the international rights to the vampire drama Blood Ties (22 x 60), in the works at Kaleidoscope Entertainment and Insight Film Studios, for CHUM and Lifetime.

* Mundial Films of Brazil has picked up the DVD rights for Hoze Houndz, Zeroman and The Secret World of Benjamin Bear from Amberwood Productions.
