Cookie Jar Entertainment has brought in Brook Hefner, formerly of Fox Sports Net and Bill Clinton’s media team, as its public relations manager and posted her to its office in Los Angeles.

Hefner will oversee media relations, including trade media activities of the Toronto toon house’s programming, distribution and licensing efforts. She has also worked in communications at International Media Corps and, under the former U.S. president, was in charge of press relations and event planning.

She reports to Kelly Elwood, SVP of marketing. ‘Brook joins Cookie Jar at a time when our company is generating significant news in all areas of programming and brand-building,’ said Elwood in a release, citing the success of The Doodlebops and Spider Riders franchises.
