CTV playing Minds game

CTV is launching an investigative online game to accompany its Criminal Minds broadcasts. The four-week contest, Criminal Minds: The Usual Suspects, comes with a $10,000 grand prize and arrives on ctv.ca on April 8, the same day the series moves to the net’s Sunday 10 p.m. ET timeslot.

Created for CTV by Mischief Media, the game allows players to participate in an investigation, building a profile of a criminal. Players gather information from reports which will be hidden in banners throughout the CTV site. If a player feels they have enough information, they can accuse a suspect, make an arrest and — if it’s no mistake — enter a random draw for the grand prize.

The move to Sundays at 10 p.m. will give Criminal Minds lead-in weight from The Amazing Race (8 p.m. ET) and Desperate Housewives (9 p.m. ET).
