BNN puts radio tech show on-air and online

BNN is launching a digital tech TV series, GetConnected TV, on May 9, putting a half-hour version on air Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. ET and an hour-long at 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturdays and Sundays. The show is also available via a microsite through BNN.ca, where archives of past shows are online alongside a viewer forum, contests, promos and podcasts.

The series, which is based on a long-running radio show of the same name from Corus Entertainment, gives consumers a taste of how technology is enhancing business productivity, including tips, reviews and insight for industry experts. The television series is produced by the Vancouver studios of Blink Media Works. Sponsors include Yahoo, Microsoft, Palm, Symantec and London Drugs. BNN recently changed its name from ROB TV.
