Orphan Black‘s so-called “Clone Club” rallied to the cause for the series’ season-three premiere, as final ratings reveal its highest-rated episode to date.
With catch-up factored in, the April 18 four-channel bow for the season premiere garnered 697,000 viewers on Space, CTV, Bravo and MTV, making it the most-watched episode of the show to date. Overnight numbers for the show pegged viewership at 594,000.
The season-over-season comparison is not apples to apples: the season was the first to benefit from Bell Media’s “roadblock” programming strategy, in which the same episode debuts across multiple channels at the same time. Seasons one and two debuted only on Space.
According to Numeris numbers from Space, the premiere brought in 261,000 viewers on the channel for the premiere.
The premiere was the number one entertainment program of the day in the 25-to-54 and 18-to-49 demos.
Orphan Black‘s after-show, Innerspace: After the Black had an average audience of 115,000 viewers for its premiere episode.
Now back in its original timeslot, Orphan Black airs Saturday nights at 9 p.m. on Space.
Orphan Black is produced by Temple Street Productions.
