Toronto-headquartered Blink49 Studios has appointed Andrew Nissen (pictured) as VP, scripted television.
Based in L.A., Nissen will report to Carolyn Newman, EVP of scripted television. Nissen joins from Lionsgate, where he was director, scripted television development following its acquisition of Entertainment One.
Nissen helped develop series including A Gentleman in Moscow for Lionsgate and Sharp Objects for Entertainment One.
Along with Nissen’s appointment, the Fifth Season-backed company also announced the promotion of four VPs to senior VP titles among its L.A. and Toronto teams.
Toronto-based Allison Brough has been promoted to SVP, unscripted television and reports to Toby Dormer, EVP, unscripted television.
Toronto-based Grainne Moley has been elevated to SVP, finance. Moley reports to COO Nelson Kuo-Lee.
Daphne Park has been advanced to SVP, production finance. Based in Toronto, Park reports to general manager Jeff Lynas.
L.A.-based Lucy Galstyan has been upped to SVP, business and legal affairs, unscripted. Galstyan reports to Nicole Levinsohn, EVP, business and legal affairs.
