Toronto-based food and travel content specialist Rockhead Entertainment has appointed Lisa Baylin to the newly created role of development and production executive.
Baylin (pictured) joined the company last fall. She is responsible for developing and producing both unscripted and scripted series for the company’s growing production division. She reports directly to Rockhead’s co-founder, celebrity chef David Rocco.
Baylin most recently served as director of scripted development at Cineflix, where she oversaw the development of series and MOWs for such outlets as Hallmark, Lifetime and Bell Media.
Prior to Cineflix, she spent nine years at Toronto-based iThentic as VP of scripted content at iThentic, where she also ventured into the unscripted space with The Nations!, a comedy reality competition that pitted comedians from Canada and New Zealand against each other in a battle to prove whose country is best.
Founded by David and Nina Rocco in 2003, Rockhead Entertainment has produced more than 100 hours of television content for such broadcast partners as National Geographic, Fox, Food Network, TLC, Tastemade and AMC, among others.
