CMPA promotes Andrew Addison to SVP role

Addison's expanded remit includes overseeing international activities, mentorship programs and strategic partnerships.

The Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA) has upped Andrew Addison to SVP, strategic communications and member engagement.

In his new role, Addison will lead the team responsible for the CMPA’s international activities and mentorship programs, as well as driving new strategic partnerships. He will continue to oversee communications, marketing and member services activities for the organization.

Addison joined the CMPA in 2016 as VP of marketing and communications. In 2019, he took over responsibility for the CMPA’s member services and sponsorship activities, as well as the production of the CMPA’s annual Prime Time conference.

Prior to joining the CMPA, Addison was an associate VP at Fleishman Hillard in Toronto, and previously worked in communications within the Canadian banking sector.

“In his newly expanded role, I am confident that Andrew will successfully lead our talented member services team, building new opportunities that will further strengthen CMPA members’ presence in Canada and on the global stage,” said CMPA president and CEO Reynolds Mastin in a statement.
