Hi/Lo Entertainment adds Clinton Brown to leadership team

Brown joins the Toronto-headquartered prodco as head of business and legal affairs.

Hi/Lo Entertainment has tapped entertainment lawyer Clinton Brown to oversee the new prodco’s business and legal affairs.

Brown joins Hi/Lo after working as VP of business and legal affairs at Neshama Entertainment. Before that, Brown was senior director of business and legal at Just for Laughs in Montreal where he managed live, touring, and television events both domestically and internationally.

Hi/Lo was founded in November 2023 with Ryan Greig as head of production and finance, Rachel Bulatovich, head of development and current, and Valerie Laurie, head of post-production.

“Offering business and legal affairs services is becoming the X factor for companies in this ever-changing production and service landscape,” said Greig, in a statement. “I can’t think of anyone I would trust more with our company’s future in that arena than Clinton.”

The new prodco offers production services as well as developing its own slate of original content from creatives including Maxine Grossman, Richard B. Pierre, Joel Brewster, and Roberto Campanella.
