Go Button Media’s science-focused docuseries Titans of Defence is among the titles Munich-based Autentic Distribution is bringing to MIPTV for presales.
The 6 x 60-minute series looks at how weapons and technology have shaped the history of human conflict. It was listed among a raft of titles on Autentic’s sales slate for the spring TV market in Cannes next month.
Toronto-based Go Button Media has a longstanding partnership with Autentic for its factual programming.
The prodco’s other projects listed on the slate include Believe (5 x 60 minutes), which looks at the origins of five different world religions, and season two of Deadly Season (6 x 60 minute). The latter series, about the scientific discoveries that can spur deadly consequences for researchers, is also up for presale at MIPTV.
Autentic is also bringing Toronto-based Primitive Entertainment’s one-hour factual special Living on Green Ice, which looks at the iridescent green algae found within the Arctic Sea ice.
Other international Autentic titles heading to MIPTV include Patrick and the Whale (1 x 60 minutes; pictured), Europe’s Ancient Megasites: Mystery of a Lost Civilization (1 x 60 minutes), and presale title How Democracies Die – The Road to Illiberal Democracy (2 x 45 minutes).
MIPTV runs from April 8 to 10.
