Sports-focused live TV streaming service Fubo is tapping into more Canadian content with the launch of Super Channel on its platform.

The deal brings Super Channel’s programming of movies, series and documentaries, to the U.S. streaming service’s Canadian subscribers, according to a news release. The programs are available both live and on-demand. The streaming platform operates in the U.S., Canada, France and Spain.

Super Channel’s suite of networks — Super Channel Fuse, Super Channel Heart & Home, and Super Channel Vault — are available as an add-on package, which includes more than 1,600 hours of TV and movies on demand each month, said the release

Super Channel Fuse includes titles such as the original crime drama series Clean Sweep (pictured), a Canada-Ireland copro from Incendo and ShinAwiL, plus true crime docuseries Finally Caught and the four-part historical docu-drama, Royal Mob.

Super Channel Heart & Home programming includes When Calls the Heart and its behind-the-scenes companion programming, while Super Channel Vault is the home for a collection of critically acclaimed titles such as La La Land, The Silence of the Lambs and the Rocky series.

Ben Grad, SVP, strategic partnerships and operations, Fubo, said in a statement that the deal with Super Channel “marks the first of Fubo’s premium channel add-ons in Canada which, as we continue to add more entertainment content, furthers our goal to provide a robust content-offering for cord cutters.”
