Blue Ant Media, World of Wonder partner on FAST channel

Drag Race Universe has launched in the U.S. and features several spinoffs from flagship series RuPaul's Drag Race.

International producer, distributor and channel operator Blue Ant Media has teamed with global multi-platform media company World of Wonder to launch Drag Race Universe in the U.S., a new free, ad-supported TV (FAST) channel available on Vizio WatchFree+, Vizio’s free streaming service.

The channel offers U.S. audiences global versions of World of Wonder’s Emmy-winning RuPaul’s Drag Race series, with a “constant pipeline of new seasons and drag-related programming,” according to a news release. There are currently nine international franchises and several spinoffs, including Canada’s Drag Race (pictured) and Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. The World.

Additional platforms carrying Drag Race Universe will be announced in the coming months.

Programming launch highlights on the Drag Race Universe channel include seasons two and three of Canada’s Drag Race, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs. the World, seasons two and three of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and the first season of Drag Race Philippines and its companion series, Drag Race Philippines Untucked.

Additional international series in the franchise that will roll out on the free streaming channel over the coming months include Drag Race Holland, Drag Race France, Drag Race Italia, Drag Race España and RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under.

The deal expands the ongoing partnership between Blue Ant and World of Wonder, which sees the former producing Canada’s Drag Race and Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World in Canada, in association with Crave.
