Toronto-based distributor Blue Ant International has locked down new sales across Latin America.
The deals, driven by the company’s factual catalogue, include the outlets DIRECTV, DIRECTV GO, Sky Brazil, Globosat and AMC Networks International.
PayTV service DIRECTV and streamer DIRECTV GO picked up paranormal thriller Bathsheba (2 × 60 minutes; Cream Productions) for Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Uruguay and Mexico. The outlets also landed The Royal Documentaries (ITN Productions), a package of 20 one-off docs about the Royal Family, including Harry and Meghan: Two Troubled Years (pictured). The royals also found a home with Sky Brazil.
AMC Networks International Latin America, meanwhile, nabbed Canadian broadcaster Love Nature’s celebrated 4K originals library for Mexico, South and Central America. The library includes the doc series Baby Animals (13 x 30 minutes, Blue Ant Studios) and Strange Creatures (13 x 30 minutes, Blue Ant Studios).
Finally, Brazil’s Globosat grabbed exclusive PayTV and SVOD rights for Coral Triangle doc series Into the Blue (8 x 60 minutes, Zona Mixta).
