Canadian kids specialty channel Toon-A-Vision has acquired more than 400 episodes of Spin Master content in a deal covering eight of its best-known properties.
Toon-A-Vision, which is owned and operated by Atlantic Digital Networks, licensed PAW Patrol (2 x 40 minutes, 12 x 5 minutes), Hatchimals (44 x 3 minutes), Toca Life (39 x 3 minutes), Abby Thatcher (10 x 5 minutes), Dragamonz (50 x 3 minutes), ZoZo Zombie (100 x 3 minutes), Redakai (52 x 22 minutes) and Tenkai Knights (52 x 22 minutes).
The specialty channel’s reach has expanded in recent years after it was added to Bell Satellite TV and Bell Fibe in 2019 and Cogeco in April 2020. It now reaches around 4 million homes throughout Atlantic Canada.
On the licensing front, Toon-A-Vision most recently picked up the TV rights to YouTube based summer camp variety series Camp Bonkers Show (Wind Sun Sky Entertainment).
