Long-time Telefilm exec Stephanie Azam has exited the organization after 13 years.
Azam, who served as national feature film executive for the English-language market, announced her departure on March 1, which was also her final day, according to a Telefilm spokesperson.
A replacement for the role has not yet been announced.
“Stephanie played a significant role at Telefilm and we are incredibly thankful for her 13 years of service in support of the Canadian audiovisual industry. We wish her the very best,” said Telefilm in a statement.
Azam’s exit marks the second high-profile departure in recent months, after Dan Lyon, the regional feature film executive for Ontario and Nunavut, left the film funder at the end of 2020.
