Talent House launches boutique agency for drag queens

Founded by Daniel Birnbaum, the drag performance agency represents Canadian drag queens, including stars from Canada's Drag Race and CBC's Queens.

kyne2b2Bruce Dean-founded agency the Talent House has expanded its reach with a boutique dedicated to Canada’s drag queens.

Vision Drag Artists is a new drag performance agency founded by the Talent House agent Daniel Birnbaum in partnership with the agency and Dean.

The full service agency includes on-camera opportunities, live performances, social media endorsements, and more. Birnbaum, an alumnus of Playback‘s 5 to Watch, will oversee clients at Vision Drag as well as maintaining his current position as a film and television agent at the Talent House.

The boutique has launched with a number of Canadian drag queens in its roster, including Canada’s Drag Race stars Kyne (pictured) and Lemon and CBC comedy Queens stars Baby Bel Bel, Lucinda Miu, and Lucy Flawless, as well as activist Luna Dubois and international pageant winner Farra N Hyte.

“As avid fans of drag performance, and appreciators of all things queer art, Vision Drag is looking forward to continuing to champion inclusivity and celebrate queer voices in all areas of entertainment,” said Birnbaum, in a statement.

Canada’s Drag Race has become a hit with Crave audiences. The unscripted competition series has been the most-watched Crave series three weeks running since its July 2 premiere.
