On May 3, Nova Scotia’s screen industry came together to celebrate local talent at the fifth annual Screen Nova Scotia Awards gala. The evening saw Thom Fitzgerald’s Splinters win best feature, Mr. D walk away with the prize for best TV series, while Splinters stars Shelley Thompson and Bailey Maughan took home ACTRA Maritimes lead actor awards.
