Scott Brothers open third North American office

Scott Brothers Global’s (SBG) Drew and Jonathan Scott have opened a new U.S. headquarters in Nashville, TN. Their production company, Scott Brothers Entertainment, will continue to be based in Toronto, while the company’s corporate office remains in Las Vegas, NV. This third location will lead the company’s digital and marketing teams for lifestyle brand Scott Living. In addition to the announcement, SBG has made three new executive appointments: Alina Duviner has been named VP, communications, Amy Mellen as VP, product design and Michael Kim as SVP, business development.

Four Nova Scotia productions receive funding

Nova Scotia Business has approved funding for four television productions in February under its Nova Scotia Film And Television Production Incentive Fund (NSFPIF). Winter Light Productions’ documentary series Maritime Museums will receive $227,200, while a pair of other TV series, Hard Time and Ricky’s Kitchen, will receive $403,204 and $449,820, respectively. In addition, Swearnet Studios, owned by Mike Smith, Robb Wells and John Paul Tremblay of Trailer Park Boys fame, have received $356,616 for an unnamed series.

eOne appoints international sales lead for Australia, NZ and India

Entertainment One (eOne) has appointed former NBCUniversal distributor Martine Druelle-Ireland to VP of sales, Australia, New Zealand and India, international distribution. In her new role, Druelle-Ireland will oversee film and television sales, including Pay TV and SVOD, in the regions. The position is based in Sydney and reports to Joyce Yeung, EVP, sales – APAC, international distribution. In previous roles Druelle-Ireland has been responsible for sales in regions including Australia, New Zealand, Central and Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Israel.
