Manon Brouillette, president and CEO of Videotron, is stepping down at the end of the year.
The announcement was made Tuesday by Quebecor president and CEO Pierre Karl Péladeau. According to a company statement, Brouillette is leaving for personal reasons, though she’ll be considered for a position on Quebecor’s board of directors. Her successor has yet to be named.
Brouillette has served as the head of Quebecor’s telecom business since 2013, and in various exec roles since joining the company in 2004.
As head of Videotron, she helped launch Quebecor’s OTT service, Club Illico, and its wireless business. In Q2 2018, the company reported that Videotron saw a $14.9 million increase in revenues from mobile telephony, a $1.8 million jump in revenues from Club illico and a $14.9 million increase in internet access revenues.
