Cameras rolling on more Letterkenny

Six new episodes of the half-hour comedy will debut later this year on CraveTV.

Production is underway in Sudbury, ON on the fourth season of CraveTV original Letterkenny.

The new six-episode season will be directed by Jacob Tierney, with a premiere date set for later this year. New episodes will feature guest stars Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead) and Jonathan Torrens.

Last month it was revealed that Hulu had acquired the exclusive U.S. streaming rights in a deal handled by the show’s international distributor, DHX Media, and producer New Metric Media. The half-hour comedy debuted on the streamer on July 13.

In addition, the series is being reimagined as a short-form animated comedy, Littlekenny. Six episodes of the property, which centres on the problems faced by the 500 kids at Letterkenny Central School, will launch on Bell Media’s mobile video platform, Snackable TV.

New Metric produces Letterkenny in partnership with DHX Media and Playfun Games.
