Production is underway in North Bay, ON on indie feature Nowhere, directed by Backcountry producer Thomas Michael.

The thriller follows a mother on a desperate search for her daughter after she goes missing following a team hazing gone wrong. It stars Kate Drummond (Wynonna Earp) and Rya Kihlstedt (Cardinal).

Michael co-wrote the script with his frequent collaborator Paolo Mancini (Hank and Mike, Running Mates). The duo produce through their respective companies, Toronto’s Fella Films and Paunch Pictures. 

Production will take place until mid-May. The film is slated for a 2018 release in Canada by levelFILM and in the U.S. by MarVista Entertainment.
