True crime series Homicide: Hours to Kill (26 x 60 minutes, Cineflix Productions) has sold to Investigation Discovery U.S., A+E Networks UK, History Channel Iberia, and PCCW Hong Kong. In the series, investigators reconstruct a timeline of the murder, find the motive and discover the identity of the murderer.
Meanwhile, an upcoming series from the point-of-view of the medical examiner, Secrets of the Morgue (13 x 60 minutes, Cineflix Productions), has pre-sold to A+E UK, Germany, Benelux, CEE, South Africa, and the Middle East.
Other sales include Border Security: America’s Front Line season two (20 x 30 minutes, eOne) selling to SBS Holland, TV2 Denmark, CBS AMC Networks EMEA Channels Partnership, and Netflix (U.S.); and its first season (28 x 30 minutes) sold to Germany’s ProSiebenSat.1 and RTL Croatia.
Cineflix Produtions’ Bizarre Murders (52 x 30 minutes) sold to Discovery Poland and Discovery Benelux, while the third season of Crimes That Shook Australia (10 x 60 minutes, Title Role Productions) was snapped up by the CBS AMC Networks EMEA Channels Partnership.
“Crime and Investigation content continues to appeal to international buyers looking for programming that draws viewers to dedicated genre networks as well as mainstream channels,” said Chris Bonney, CEO Rights, Cineflix Media, said in a release.
