Written by Vicky Jones (Killing Eve) (pictured), who leads DryWrite with Fleabag writer and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the series will feature Waller-Bridge in a recurring role.

The series announcement was made Thursday by Mark Gordon, eOne’s new president and chief content officer for film, TV and digital, at the studio’s annual drama preview in London.

Run follows ex-lovers who made a pact that if they ever need to escape their lives they can text each other the word ‘Run’ and disappear together.

Jones and Waller-Bridge will executive produce the series alongside Wigwam Films’ Emily Leo (Under the Shadow).

eOne’s VP of scripted development Polly Williams and Carolyn Newman, SVP of scripted programming, will oversee the project for the Toronto-based global studio.
