VisionTV orders more ‘Cheating Death’

The broadcaster has greenlit a second season of the Peacock Alley-produced docuseries ahead of its series debut.

VisionTV has ordered a second season of A User’s Guide to Cheating Death ahead of the season one premiere.

The six-episode first season of the series, produced by Toronto’s Peacock Alley Entertainment, debuts on the Zoomer Media-owned channel on Sept. 18. at 9 p.m. Cheating Death is exec produced by Peacock founder Carrie Mudd and directed by Brent Hodge.

The hour-long docuseries follows health law professor Timothy Caulfield, author of Is Gwyneth Paltrow Wrong About Everything?: When Celebrity Culture and Science Clash, as he debunks health myths and explores the science behind current diet trends.

VisionTV has greenlit an additional six hours of the program for season two. Cheating Death is distributed internationally by Sky Vision.
