Tricon execs move to Sonar

Former SVP of factual development Jeff Hevert is among those joining the L.A.-based company, following its acquisition of Tricon's library.

Jeff Hevert, SVP of factual development (pictured); Ashley Rite, VP of kids and family; and Marc Kell Whitehead, VP of factual production are among the former Tricon execs joining the U.S. entertainment company.

Tricon entered into a purchase agreement with Sonar in April of this year, at which time the L.A. company offered employment to Tricon founder and president Andrea Gorfolova.

In May, it was confirmed that Gorfolova had joined Sonar and that the company had completed its acquisition of 1,500 hours of Tricon’s library content, popular kids series Counterfeit Cat, as well as in-development projects Go Away Unicorn, Texas Metal and Food’s Greatest Hits.
