Corus greenlights The Baker Sisters

The food travelogue show will be shopped at MIPTV this April along with new originals Backyard Builds and Save My Reno.

Corus Studios, the lifestyle-focused production and distribution division of Corus Entertainment, has greenlit a new unscripted food travelogue series for Food Network Canada.

The Baker Sisters (13 x 30 minutes), produced by Toronto’s Alibi Entertainment, in association with Corus Studios, follows siblings Rachel Smith and Jean Parker as they travel across North America visiting bakeries and restaurants and sampling sweets along the way.

Corus Studios will shop The Baker Sisters at MIPTV in Cannes, France this April, along with a host of other unscripted series.

Also heading to France this spring are new originals Backyard Builds (8 x 30 minutes), produced by Frantic Films in association with Corus Studios, and Save my Reno (14 x 30 minutes), produced by Great Pacific Media in association with Corus Studios. The company will also take Great Pacific Media’s Worst to First and season two of Architect Films’ Home to Win, both of which are produced in association with Corus Studios for HGTV Canada.
