Production underway in Vancouver on Somewhere Between

The limited series, produced by Thunderbird Entertainment in association with ITV Studios America, will air on ABC this summer.

Vancouver-based production company Thunderbird Entertainment has started production in the city on its latest project: A 10-part limited series for ABC.

Somewhere Between will air on the ABC Television Network in summer 2017. The U.S. network greenlit the series in December.

The drama follows a successful news producer (Paula Patton, Warcraft) who knows when, where and how her eight-year-old daughter will be killed. She just doesn’t know why or how. The series is based on a Korean format from SBS and is produced by Thunderbird in association with ITV Studios America.

Executive producers on the show are Stephen Toikin, who also wrote the pilot, and Thunderbird’s Ivan Fecan, Joseph Broido, Tim Gamble and Matthew O’Connor.

ITV Studios Global Entertainment is handling international distribution. A Canadian broadcaster for the series has yet to be lined up.
