Blue Ant International has expanded its sales team.

The distribution division of Blue Ant Media has named Nick Solowski director, International Sales and Acquisitions. Solowski, who will be based in Toronto, will be responsible for licensing Blue Ant International’s catalogue of content across Canada, U.S.-Hispanic, Latin America, the Iberian Peninsula, Australia, New Zealand and Ancillary.

Solowski was previously senior director, International Sales and Acquisitions at Tricon Films & Television. Toronto-based producer-distributor Tricon has been under creditor protection since December and is currently in the process of selling its library.

Blue Ant International has also upped Kate Blank to senior director, international sales. She will continue to oversee content licensing across France, Asia, German-speaking Europe and Eastern Europe.
