9 Story’s Top Wing picked up by Nickelodeon

Top Wing follows a team of young birds who come together to help their community and earn their wings as rescue birds.

shutterstock_tv_dealTop Wing, from Toronto’s 9 Story Media Group, has been picked up by Nickelodeon.

Nickelodeon took exclusive rights to the CG action-adventure preschool series (52 x 11) for its channels worldwide, excluding Canada.

A Canadian broadcaster was not announced as of press time.

Top Wing follows a team of young birds who come together to help their community and earn their wings as rescue birds.

Earlier this year, 9 Story sold a trio of its preschool properties to broadcasters in the U.K. Nerds and Monsters was acquired by CiTV, Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood was sold to Cartoonito UK and Sony Pictures Television’s Kix channel took season one of Numb Chucks.

And just this month, 9 Story’s Peg + Cat picked up two Daytime Creative Arts Emmys for Outstanding Writing in a Pre-School Animated program and Outstanding Music Direction and Composition.
