The industry gathered May 2 to honour the scribes behind some the finest Canadian TV, film and web series of the past year. The Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Awards, held at Koerner Hall in Toronto, was hosted by Elvira Kurt and saw writers including Amanda Walsh (Schitt’s Creek), Russ Cochrane (Orphan Black), Josh Freed (Deluged by Data) and Jennica Harper (Some Assembly Required) collecting awards.
