U.S. network FXX has renewed comedy Man Seeking Woman for a third season.
The series has shot in Toronto for its first two seasons; its season-three location was still unconfirmed by the network as of press time.
The 10-episode season will air on FXX in Canada in early 2017.
The series earned an average total viewership of 399,000 (live +7) on FXX in the U.S. in its second season, a bump up from the 393,000 in its first. While Rogers Media declined to disclose ratings from the series second season, it noted that its 25-54 audience increased fourfold over season one.
Man Seeking Woman stars Jay Baruchel as a singleton soldiering through the tough realities of dating.
The series is produced by FX Studios, executive produced by showrunner Simon Rich and based on his book of short stories, The Last Girlfriend on Earth. Jonathan Krisel, Andrew Singer, Ian Maxtone-Graham, Lorne Michaels and Broadway Video also serve as executive producers.
