eOne inks first-look deal with Chris Deaux’s shingle

The deal will see veteran reality producer Deaux (pictured) develop and produce unscripted programming with eOne via his newly launched prodco, Two Fifteen West Entertainment.

chris deauxEntertainment One has inked an overall first-look deal with established reality TV producer Chris Deaux and his new shingle, Two Fifteen West Entertainment.

The deal will see Deaux, via Two Fifteen West, develop and produce unscripted programming with eOne. The content from the deal will feed into the development and production pipeline of eOne Television’s U.S. Alternative Programming division, launched in 2012 and lead by Tara Long.

Before launching Two Fifteen West Entertainment, Deaux served as SVP development at L.A.-based Intuitive Entertainment. There, he developed and executive produced Lifetime’s Atlantic Plastic and The Rap Game, Food Network’s Kind of Cones and Discovery’s Rod N’ Wheels. Prior to his time at Intuitive, Deaux served as SVP Entertainment at California-based Film Garden, where he created and executive produced Discovery’s Hogs Gone Wild, Fuse’s Rock Bottom and DIY’s Extra Yardage.

Other producers that currently hold first-look deals with eOne Television focused on unscripted programming include Kevin Healey, Riaz Patel, and Mark Ford and Kevin Lopez’s Creature Films. eOne also recently inked a multi-year deal with Matt Anderson and Nate Green’s Purveyors of Pop to develop and co-produce multiplatform unscripted content.

Series eOne Television’s U.S. Alternative Programming division has developed and produced since its launch include Nellyville, It’s A Mann’s World and The Sheards for BET; Mary Mary for WE tv and comedy prank show Fameless for truTV. Series slated to be released this season include Growing Up Hip Hop for WE tv, Nicole & Jionni’s Shore Flip for FYI and About the Business for BET.
