Earlier this month, producers and executive from across the country gathered at The Westin Ottawa for the 2016 edition of the Prime Time conference. Delegates heard from some of the country’s top media execs, such as Shaw Media’s Barbara Williams and CBC’s Heather Conway, as well as international speakers such as Starz’s John Penney on what the future of media and television production may look like. While attendees were treated to the customarily jam-packed 48-hour schedule, delegates still found time to let their hair down in the post-panel, evening functions.
