Brad Keenan leaves ACTRA

Keenan was at ACTRA for eight years, most recently serving as the director of the ACTRA Performers' Rights Society.

brad keenanBrad Keenan, director of the ACTRA Performers’ Rights Society, is headed to L.A. for a new role with SAG-AFTRA.

Keenan is leaving ACTRA after eight years and will join the executive team at union SAG-AFTRA, which is a combined union of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artist representing 160,000 members. At ACTRA, Keenan was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the union’s bookkeeping branch.

The news was revealed in a memo to ACTRA staff on Monday from national executive director Stephen Waddell, who wished Keenan well. Please join with me in wishing Brad the best in his new role at SAG-AFTRA,” Waddell said. “While Brad is leaving us, he is joining a sister union and will continue to work with us for the benefit of performers.”

Prior to joining the ACTRA Performers’ Rights Society in 2007, Keenan was the head of music, licensing and partnership marketing at Sony BMG Music Canada.
