Neve Campbell to receive ACTRA National Award of Excellence

needs credit see belowNeve Campbell has been selected to receive the 2016 ACTRA National Award of Excellence.

The prize recognizes the career achievements of an ACTRA member, as well as their contributions to fellow actors and Canada’s entertainment industry as a whole. Campbell will be presented with the award on Jan. 31 at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

Campbell got her start in the entertainment industry in the Toronto production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera in 1988. She later went on to land a lead role in Party of Five, and has appeared in a number of feature films including Scream, The Craft, The Canterville Ghost, Three to Tango, Drowning Mona, Panic and Wild Things. More recently, her credits include the feature Walter, the Netflix series House of Cards and a guest-starring role in Manhattan.

Other actors who have been presented with the ACTRA National Award of Excellence include Leslie Nielsen, Kiefer Sutherland, Sandra Oh, Bruce Greenwood and Jason Priestley.
