Paul a Quebec passes $1M at B.O.

The Caramel Films and Associate Producers feature is currently screening across Quebec, with Remstar Films distributing.

Paul a Quebec, a live-action adaptation of a popular comic by Michel Rabagliati, has brought in more than $1 million at the box office in Quebec, distributor Remstar Films announced Monday.

Since its release on Sept. 18, Paul a Quebec has earned $1,018,774 at the box office, according to Remstar. The feature is directed by Francois Bouvier, who also co-wrote the script with Rabagliati.

Paul a Quebec stars Francois Letourneau in the titular role. The film’s ensemble cast includes Julie Le Breton, Louise Portal, Myriam Leblanc, Brigitte Lafleur, Patrice Robitaille, Mathieu Quesnel and Shanti Corbeil-Gauvreau.

Paul a Quebec was produced by Caramel Films and Associated Producers. Andre Rouleau, Valerie d’Auteuil, Nathalie Brigitte and Karine Vanasse serve as producers. The film received financial support from Telefilm Canada, SODEC, The Harold Greenberg Fund, Radio Canada and the Quebecor Fund.
