Dark skies and uncharacteristically cold temperatures did not dampen spirits at Technicolor’s TIFF party this weekend past, despite the Thompson Hotel’s glamorous rooftop patio not in its usual fine, sun-drenched form. Still, Canadian directors, producers and industry executives soldiered on over champagne, oysters and canapes (#toughtimes) to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary and its lineup of films at TIFF.
