Entertainment One Television has promoted SVP operations and business development Jeff Lynas to COO, the company announced Thursday.

In his new role, Lynas will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of eOne Television on a worldwide basis. He will also continue to work on the company’s overall business development, including establishing and structuring new business relations for eOne in distribution, production and digital ventures.

Lynas will report directly to eOne Television CEO John Morayniss, and will continue to be based in Los Angeles.
