Michael Drabot has joined William F. White as the company’s new VP/general manager of Whites Winnipeg and national client services.

Drabot will be based out of Manitoba and will report directly to EVP and COO Paul Roscorla. He takes on the role that was previously held by Steve Morrison, who was the general of the Whites Winnipeg location for 16 years before recently taking a Toronto-based position to lead Whites Live Events.

“Michael is an accomplished industry veteran who has been a key player behind the success of Manitoba’s film and television industry for over three decades,” Comweb chairman/CEO Paul Bronfman said in a statement. “We are honoured that he has chosen to serve on our senior management team and we believe that his proven leadership, strong operational background and strategic acumen will be extremely valuable to our company’s future success.”

Prior to joining William F. White, Drabot was most recently the VP and general manager of PS Production Services’ Toronto location. He first joined PS Production Services in 1990 as a general manager for PS Prairies, a post he held for 18 years.
