Picture Box Distribution has picked up four animated series for distribution, including two animated Canadian properties.

B.C.-based Turtlebox Productions’ Will’s Jams and Adrian Dean’s Doowett (32 x 2-minute) have been picked up by Picture Box for global distribution. Will’s Jams, currently airing on CBC, is a hybrid live action and animation format that encourages kids to stay active and healthy, while Doowett is a preschool animation about expressing yourself through music. Doowett is produced by Dean for City Saskatchewan.

In addition, Vancouver and Toronto-based Picture Box has added The Dancing Pumpkin (1 x 45-minute) and Moochie Kalala Detectives Club (6 x 30-minutes) to its roster. Picture Box picked up both series for international distribution outside the U.S. The Dancing Pumpkin from U.S.-based Silver Hammer Studios is an animated Halloween special. Moochie Kalala is an animated adventure story from Chicago-based Dreaming Tree Films and PBS WTTW.

Other series currently on Picture Box’s distribution roster include Sinking Ship Entertainment’s Annedroids, Radical Sheep Productions’ Yup Yups and TVOKids series Lady Vocab.
