Engines rev up on Drive Me Crazy

The new unscripted series for Corus Entertainment is produced by marblemedia in association with Proper Television.

Production is underway on Drive Me Crazy, a new series produced by marblemedia in association with Proper Television for Corus Entertainment’s YTV.

In each episode of the 20 x 30-minute series, new tween/teen drivers are put through a driving course, but must depend on the instruction of a family member to successfully complete various challenges. Casting is currently underway for tween/teen drivers and their family members, with Drive Me Crazy currently set to bow on YTV in 2016.

Drive Me Crazy is inspired by U.K. format Driving Academy, originally produced by Zodiak Media’s Lucky Day Productions and airing on CBBC. marblemedia’s distribution arm, Distribution360, will split distribution duties on Drive Me Crazy by territory with Zodiak Media. marblemedia will lead the development for an interactive extension for Drive Me Crazy.

Drive Me Crazy is executive produced by marblemedia’s Matt Hornburg and Mark Bishop, and Proper Television’s Guy O’Sullivan and Steve Sloan. Miklos Perlus, VP kids and family at marblemedia, will serve as co-executive producer with Kirsten Scollie line producing. The series received financial support from the Shaw Rocket Fund.
