eOne TV hires Pancho Mansfield to lead scripted

Former Fox programming exec Mansfield has been named president of global scripted programming for eOne Television, working under CEO John Morayniss.

pancho mansfieldPancho Mansfield has joined Entertainment One as the indie studio’s new president of scripted programming for eOne Television.

Mansfield will be based out of eOne’s Los Angeles office and will oversee the studio’s slate of original scripted programming. In his new role, Mansfield will work closely with other eOne Television management to coordinate development and production activities across all territories eOne operates in, including U.S. scripted development head Gerard Bocaccio and Carrie Stein, who leads global production. Mansfield will also work closely with eOne’s international sales arm. Mansfield will report to John Morayniss, CEO of eOne Television.

Prior to joining eOne, Mansfield was running his own production shingle and had served as an executive producer on the upcoming A&E series Damien and USA Network’s latest series, Queens of the South. Prior to that, he was with Fox Television Studios for seven years as SVP of programming, where he oversaw original scripted series such as FX’s Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, IFC’s Maron, USA Network’s Sirens and A&E’s The Glades.

Mansfield also held positions at Spike TV, where he was EVP and head of original programming, and Showtime Networks, as SVP of original programming, where he developed shows such as Stargate: SG-1, Queer as Folk and Hiroshima.
