Nickelodeon has ordered a third 20-episode season of CG-animated preschool series PAW Patrol.
A co-production with Toronto, Canada-based Spin Master Entertainment, the show stars a pack of heroic pups – Chase, Marshall, Rocky, Rubble, Zuma, Everest and Skye – who are led by a tech-savvy boy named Ryder.
Set to debut later this year, season three will see the pups take their adventures to the sky, with new vehicles, equipment and characters introduced.
PAW Patrol airs every weekday on Nickelodeon, featuring curriculum that focuses on citizenship, social skills and problem-solving.
On the digital side, the property has full episodes and games available on NickJr.com and the Nick Jr. app, as well as a growing consumer products program.
Spin Master distributes PAW Patrol in Canada through broadcast partners City TV, TVO and Knowledge Network. Nickelodeon handles the global distribution, licensing and merchandising rights for the series outside of Canada on behalf of Viacom International.
